With a primary focus on the ongoing Cadastre – which requires the declaration of all properties by their owners – our goal is to provide informed guidance and assistance to property owners for the correct declaration of their properties in the National Cadastre, in order to secure their ownership and avoid future issues.

The Cadastre represents the transition from a anthropocentric recording of properties, as previously done with land registries, to a geocentric one, linking contracts to physical space. Therefore, it is crucial that during the declaration of ownership rights, these are reported with the utmost accuracy, not only with respect to the location and boundaries of the parcel which the right refers to (contract).

Otherwise, the likelihood of errors arising is significant, which, apart from the time-consuming objections or legal disputes that may ensue to make the necessary corrections, can ultimately prove to be much more costly compared to an initially correct declaration with a modern and accurate topographic plan or a correct identification of the property boundaries.
